Discover Harmonious Chords

In the chord palette, you can explore a variety of chords available in your selected scale. As you play a chord, related chords are highlighted, making it easy to find smooth chord progressions. Once you've found a pleasing sequence, simply drag and drop the chords into your composition to build your song upon them. If you prefer to start with a melody and find a suitable chord progression, you can do that as well! Just select the notes and tap the search icon to display chords that match your melody fragment. It's an enjoyable experience to experiment and observe how different harmonic contexts impact the perception of the same melodic fragment.

Create Captivating Melodies and Fluid Chord Progressions

In the piano roll, notes that harmonize well together and the root notes of the chords are highlighted. This makes it incredibly simple to create leads, arpeggios, basslines, and experiment with various chord voicings to ensure your chord progressions flow smoothly.

Intuitive Editing

A user-friendly interface, which is both simple yet feature-rich and context-aware, allows you to organize your ideas into complete songs. Group sections into song parts and arrange them effortlessly using drag and drop. Take advantage of functions such as duplication, copying and pasting, and playback of selected notes.

File Export

Export and share your creations with ease through the audio file export feature. You can also edit your composition in other compatible apps using MIDI file export.

Integration with Your Favorite Instrument Apps

Exploring and creating with your favorite instrument apps from the App Store is even more enjoyable with Klimper. It supports Inter-App-Audio Instruments like Animoog and Model 15, as well as Audio Unit Instruments like Ripplemaker and Mersenne.
